CHiRiGüE

Chilean-American Electro-Folklór artist CHiRiGüE weaves tradition and innovation into songs that are lush and percussive. Primarily focused on guitar, charango, flutes and bombo, Chirigüe (pronounced; chee-dEE-gwe) reexplores Folklórica and Musica Andina from her heritage to infuse it with electronic elements, nature-based field recordings, and a touch of 90's grunge. Born in Northern Arizona, and based in Florida, her experimentation emerges like the varied landscapes of Chile: sun-baked expansive deserts, wet and moody archipelagos, and nostalgic subtropical sunsets.

Maroon Stranger

Rooted in Florida, raised by Indian and African diaspora, Maroon Stranger writes tales of science fiction and fantasy. Her fantasy short story “Lentils for Breakfast”, first published in Luna Station Quarterly, was listed among Reactor Magazine’s top ten Must Read Short Speculative Fiction for June 2025. Her stories feature themes of cultural autonomy, community resilience, and hope.
